What's new in WeVoTrip

What changed in WeVoTrip, newest first: voting deadlines, vote-by-link reminders, read-only trip links, a sharper AI referee and more, in plain words.

  1. Stays

Importing a stay from a link is faster

Paste a listing link and the stay’s details are filled in for the vote in about a second instead of several. Turning dates written in text into proper date options got the same speed-up.

  2. Demo

Your own private copy of the live demo

Taking a seat in the demo gives you a private copy of the demo trips. Nobody else sees what you change, and it is deleted when you exit or after a few hours.

  3. Families

Count everyone coming, and give each family one vote

Children, pets and people who do not use the app can all be counted, and people can be grouped into families and households. A free trip gets correct per-person prices, bed checks and budget figures, and one vote per family is free too.

  4. Notifications

Notifications on any device, iPhones included

Add WeVoTrip to your iPhone’s Home Screen, or install it on Android or desktop, and turn on notifications for new proposals, reminders and decisions. They are off until you switch them on.

  5. AI referee

The AI referee tells you what to do next

The referee’s read is now a verdict, not a wall of text: one headline, a status for dates, ideas, stays and budget, what is blocking each decision, and one compromise with its cost. Each blocker comes with buttons to nudge the person it names, and the compromise opens where the group can vote on it. Free accounts get one try a month; Pro has it on demand.

  6. Voting

Vote straight from the reminder email

“Vote now” in a reminder email opens your own ballot, with Yes, Maybe or No on whatever you have not voted on yet, and no sign-in. The link works for seven days and is yours alone, so do not forward it.

  7. VotingPro

    Voting deadlines and automatic reminders

Pick the day voting closes. The next morning, the option the group clearly favours in each decision is finalised; a tie is left for an admin to settle. The trip page shows when voting closes.

People who have not voted get a nudge every few days and one more the day before the deadline. The manual Remind button stays free.

  8. Invites

Invite your group and remind who has not voted

A new trip’s page has “Invite your group”: one tap opens an invite link for 10 people for 14 days and hands it to the share sheet. Admins can also remind everyone who still has votes to cast, by notification and email, once every six hours per trip.
